2026 Commencement Important Info
As we look ahead to Commencement weekend, we want to make sure everyone has the latest information as we monitor the potential
for severe weather on Saturday.

your family, friends and guests before they arrive on campus.
As part of our Commencement policy, the following items are not permitted:

For the main Commencement ceremony at 9 a.m. At this time, the outdoor ceremony remains as planned. Should conditions require
us to move or modify any element of Commencement, we will communicate promptly through
the AppArmor text alert system. We encourage all guests to sign up for alerts now,
by texting 鈥淛U鈥� to 237233.
NROTC Commissioning Ceremony (From 1 to 2 p.m.). Out of an abundance of caution and in response to the forecast, the Commissioning
ceremony will move indoors to Terry Concert Hall. Guests will be able to attend in
person. The ceremony will be live streamed.
Keigwin School of Nursing Convocation (From 3 to 4 p.m.). Out of an abundance of caution and in response to the forecast, the Nursing Convocation
ceremony, scheduled for Saturday afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m., will move indoors to
Terry Concert Hall. Due to capacity constraints, this ceremony will be limited to graduating students only. Guests will not be able to attend in person. The ceremony will be live streamed.
