The Keigwin School of Nursing supports two highly-regarded, competitive programs for active duty military students who want to be Navy Nurse Corps officers AND obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree: Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP) and the Seaman to Admiral-21 (STA-21).

In order to be accepted to the MCEP Program you must meet the following criteria:

MECP Timeline Reminder: Apply one year in advance to align with the Enlisted Commissioning package deadline (Sept. 1, 2024). Fall application timing ensures you receive required documents like a degree plan and TER. Accepted students will receive materials by early July.
